I am now 53 Days away from being in Zambia!! I can't believe that I am under 8 weeks finally...
As most of you know, I lived in Arkansas for the past 4 months and last night I arrived back home in Texas. Sadly, my time is done living in Arkansas and now on to the next season of my life... Our God is so good and His purposes are so on target it blows me away through each season He brings me through!!
I am so thankful for all the precious friends I made while living in Arkansas. Here are some of them...Kit, Audra, Erin, Emily, Amber, Me, and Stephanie. (This is a picture from my surprise going away party they threw for me!)For now, I am home for a few weeks helping around the house and going down to Houston for my Dad's chemo & radiation treatment. Then hopefully I will be returning to Kanakuk to work for the month of June and then its off to Africa the month of July.
As for the fall I am not quite sure yet. I do have several options that I am considering, but I don't have a clear direction yet. I know the Lord will reveal the plans when I need to know them. In the meantime, I will be gathering all the supplies I need, getting more shots and spending time with my family before I'm off again!
On a side note, THANK YOU all for continuing to pray over this journey I am on. I believe the Lord is hearing your prayers and answering them in His timing.
